Kloe is Growing!!!!

Today was our two-week old checkup at the pediatrician, and Little Miss Kloe gained an ENTIRE POUND in 13 days!! She now weighs in at 7 pounds, 6.5 ounces, and she has grown 7/8 of an inch in that time, as well!! Our little peanut isn't going to be a little peanut for long, at this rate!! Kloe was an absolute angel at the doctor's, barely even fussing at all except for when the nurse stretched her leg out to measure her!

It seemed strange to go out today with only the baby, but Kalee ditched Grandma and I to spend the day with her BFF Emily. They had lunch at Mickey D's and played at Em's all afternoon! (Thanks, Ms. Carissa...she had a blast!!)

Welcome to our Blog!

Well, I am going to attempt to join the 21st century and create a blog to keep everyone updated on what the Pugh's are up to in NC!

As most everyone knows by now, Kloe Nicole came into the world on August 12, 2008 at 6:23 p.m. She weighed 6 pounds, 11 ounces, and she is 19 inches long. We are all in love with her! She is just as sweet as Kalee, making the transition from one princess to two pretty easy so far!! (The fact that Grandma and Grandpa are here definitely helps, too!!)

We have gotten right back into the swing of things even with Miss Kloe being so new. In fact, she attended her first "Moms Night In/Margarita Night" with Mommy at 3 days old. However, we were just there briefly to say hello and neither of us were in the mood for a 'rita!!

Prior to margarita night, Kloe had already been to the doctor that day for a weight check to see if she had lost any more weight (she had, in fact, gained 2.5 ounces since coming home from the hospital the day before!!), and made her first trip to Target!! Now she has also been to Babies R Us and Wal Mart, and today she ventured to the mall for her inaugural visit! (She slept the whole time!!)
