mini-vavcation. Pop Pop had his truck in a show out there so it was a perfect opportunity to get away, and for him to finally get to spend some time with his newest granddaughter!We had a really great time and the leaves and the mountain scenery were absolutely gorgeous! Kalee had tons of fun even though she was sick for the first 2 days and not feeling 100%, but she still seemed to enjoy herself. Kloe seemed to have fun, too, sleeping the days away...the cool mountain air really had her worn out! She even hung out at the campfire with us, all bundled up!
Another great part of the weekend was that Kloe got to meet some of my most favorite relatives, Danny's Aunt Dottie and Uncle Jim who live in Tennessee. They also came out for the weekend and it was so much fun to have them there, too! (Or actually, is that Uncle Dottie and Aunt Jim??? By the end of the weekend I was pretty confused, and I didn't even crack open any wine!) I am, however, looking forward to cracking some of that wine open VERY soon, so Uncle Jim should expect a phone call......
